Superb Quality
We have ordered from British Hardwoods before. The square edged ash we ordered natural with no finish. This, we will be fixing to the door frames to pack out and plant the Torus oak architrave we also ordered too. In our renovation, we had to spade off the old plaster back to the brickwork, and the original frames were very deep. To make the most of the oak architrave depth, to much would have been lost hence the need for additional depth. It may seem extreme but we have used ash in our other frames - It's just one of those personal things with the finish of the job. We know the ash is there, if no-one else does. The quality of the material is the important thing. Completely satisfied!
