Solid Walnut Flooring

Our solid walnut wood flooring is manufactured from sustainably-sourced prime grade American black walnut. The wood displays a gorgeous range of rich, dark tones which combine beautifully with the creamy, caramel coloured sap band. Our solid walnut floors suit both traditional and contemporary interiors and look absolutely stunning when contrasted with neutral tones and pale décor.

We source the raw walnut timber from the very best saw mills in the USA and machine every floor on-site here in the UK. The walnut boards are kiln-dried to a moisture content of 8-10%, and then carefully stored, before and after machining, in our temperature-controlled factory. This makes our solid walnut wood flooring fully compatible for use within a warm, dry property with no need for lengthy acclimatisation.

We pre-plane the solid walnut boards before final machining which results in accurately machined floorboards which are extremely straight, flat and a pleasure to fit. Mass produced imported solid walnut wood floors are not made, stored, or quality controlled to the same high standards as a British Hardwoods wood floor.
