Our contemporary solid wood floors offer the perfect design solution for your modern living or working area. Whether you have a chic minimalist studio or a contemporary barn conversion, our solid wood floors bring an organic feel to any urban space.
A contemporary wood floor can complement other natural products such as stone, granite and marble. Alternatively, using real wood as a floor finish can provide a stunning contrast with man made surfaces such as glass, chrome and steel.
If you desire a completely flat, sleek appearance to your contemporary wood floor, we can supply unfinished boards with square edges. Once the floor is laid, the boards can be sanded and finished on site to create a completely smooth billiard table finish. If you prefer the convenience of a pre-oiled wood floor, the boards will have a very small subtle chamfer (micro bevel) on the long edges.
Some of our contemporary wood floors are available in random widths which increases the aesthetic effect of a modern living space.
