Band Sawn Wood Flooring

Our Band Sawn Solid Oak Flooring has a robust, textured surface bringing authentic appeal to traditional settings. Our band sawn floors are manufactured by us, here in the UK, using sustainably sourced French Oak. After machining, the face of the boards are laterally sawn, creating a tactile, textured surface with a striking band-sawn appearance. Because the wood is not completely smooth it is much more forgiving to signs of everyday wear and tear; our band sawn oak floors are therefore extremely suited to high traffic areas such as hallways and main living spaces.

Our band sawn solid wood flooring can be further enhanced by a hardwax oil finish which adds a beautiful satin lustre, whilst providing a hardwearing finish. This finish can be re-applied to your wood floor, in time, without the need for prior sanding. Fuming adds an extra dimension to our band sawn floors, creating a floor with rich, dark tones and unique character and appeal.
