Osmo Wood Wax Finish 3164 Oak 750ml
Osmo Wood Wax Finish 3164 Oak 750ml is a tinted natural wax/oil-based finish suitable for the decorative finishing of interior wood. It can also be used as a coloured base coat for wood flooring, prior to sealing with Osmo Polyx Oil.
An oak tinted, transparent or intensive coloured interior wood finish that uniquely combines the advantages of natural oils and waxes in one product. Osmo Wood Wax Finish 3164 Oak 750ml is stain-resistant and water-repellent and will not crack, peel, flake or blister. Once dry the finish is safe for humans, animals and plants and is suitable for use on children’s toys.
Transparent colour (one coat) produces a satin finish. Intensive colour (two coats) produces a satin-gloss finish. In general, intensive colour applications (two coloured coats) are not recommended for flooring due to the risk of applying too much product.
All Osmo finishes are microporous and should be applied thinly and evenly along the wood grain so that the oil is able to seep into the timber. We advise fully reading the instructions on the tin prior to application. The finished surface is influenced by several factors, including the condition of the wood. Therefore, a trial application is recommended to ensure that the result is satisfactory.
