Quick Overview

A solid European Oak architrave with lambs tongue profile, 70mm deep and 19mm thick. Our architrave can be supplied unoiled or finished with hardwax oil, which provides a hardwearing finish with a natural satin lustre.

If you are using our architrave around a door, we recommend our architrave sets to ensure that you receive timber in appropriate lengths.

Our lambs tongue architraves are manufactured on site, here in the UK, using solid FSC certified prime grade European Oak. The wood has a golden honey tone which displays natural figuring and grain pattern with some small knots. Our timber boards are kiln-dried to an average moisture content of 8-10% and are carefully stored in our temperature-controlled factory.

All our hardwood products are machined by our skilled craftsmen using state-of-the-art British and German wood-machining technology, ensuring your architraves are precision perfect and easy to fit. We can machine matching skirting boards, door linings and floors to suit your installation requirements.

I know the product is a natural material, but the four pieces were four different colours. Also hardwoods are supposed to be relatively knot free, these timbers were not.

(Our reply: Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We supply natural hardwoods which, by their very nature, are subject to variations in tone and grain pattern. Our European oak is a prime grade and will contain some small knots and scatterings of pip, as stated on our website.)
