Our Horizontal Cedar Cladding is planed smooth and has a tongue and groove joint on the long edges. The boards have a subtle chamfer which creates a pleasing visual horizontal overlap. Our planed cedar cladding is supplied in boards of 3.6m long x 142mm wide x 18mm thick. Once the boards are fixed in place, the cover width (exposed face) is 125mm.
Our British Western Red Cedar Cladding is UK grown and is the sustainable choice for both exterior and interior cladding. British Cedar is more consistent in tone than its Canadian counterpart, and has a pleasing reddish-brown tone with golden amber hues. The timber is a character grade, displaying frequent sound knots.
Converting an area measurement (m2) to linear metres (m)
If you know the area you wish to cover and want to convert this to metres, you should divide the area by the cover width of the boards. For example, if the area you wish to cover is 20m2: 20 / 0.125 = 160m. We recommend that you allow plenty of extra onto your literal measurement, to allow for wastage due to cuts.
