Our traditional Cedar Feather-edge Cladding is cut on the diagonal to produce a tapered board, designed to be overlapped when fitted. The boards have a characterful band-sawn finish displaying frequent sound knots. Our feather-edge cedar cladding is supplied in boards of 3.6m long x 146mm wide and the feather-edge profile tapers from 22mm-8mm thick.
Our British Western Red Cedar Cladding is UK grown and is the sustainable choice for both exterior and interior cladding. British Cedar is more consistent in tone than its Canadian counterpart, and has a pleasing reddish-brown tone with golden amber hues.
Converting an area measurement (m2) to linear metres (m)
If you know the area you wish to cover and want to convert this to metres, you should divide the area by the cover width (exposed face) of the boards. The cover width depends on how much overlap you use. For example, if the area you wish to cover is 20m2 and you plan to overlap the boards by 20mm: 20 / 0.126 = 159m. We recommend that you allow plenty of extra onto your literal measurement, to allow for wastage due to cuts.
