If you've called in to one of our Timber Sale and Open Day events, you are likely to have seen Barry Bell and his wonderful Steampunk Lamps. Barry is a skilled woodturner who started by making garden furniture, before moving on to bespoke birdhouses and rocking horses. Barry now uses his skills to upcycle pre-loved items by turning them into new and unique creations. Barry will be displaying his lovely designs this weekend, along with other local craftspeople, at the annual Haworth Christmas Craft Fair.

Barry's handcrafted Steampunk Lamps gave a lovely glow and heat

Haworth is a wonderful place to visit, especially at this time of year when the shops are decorated for the festive season. The Fairs will be running this weekend and for the next two weekends leading up to Christmas. The event is held in The Old School Rooms where the Bronte family taught and the venue for Charlotte Bronte's wedding reception. The hall is situated up a pretty cobbled street, behind the church and next to The Bronte Parsonage Museum.
