Sawn QF2 Grade Two-Square Edged Oak 27mm (per cubic foot)
A classic grade of Rough Sawn French Oak with scatterings of knot and pip and some open knots up to 25mm in diameter. Our sawn oak timber is supplied by the cubic foot in full sized boards. The boards are supplied in random widths, typically between 190mm to 210mm, depending on stock availability. The board lengths tend to be about 1.8 metres to 2.4 metres, but again may vary due to stock availability.

Rough Sawn French Oak QF2 Grade is a classic grade of timber with open knots up to 25mm in diameter. The boards are kiln dried to 9-11% moisture content and carefully stored in our heated and acclimatised factory.
The QF2 grade quality adheres to the following criteria:
"Pieces are practically free of features other than knots. Three knots less than 25mm are permitted in pieces with a width less than 120mm and one extra knot for every additional 40mm in width in case of wider pieces."
